Why spend money on a Professional photographer
After all once the big day has been celebrated your photographs are probably the most important treasured keepsake. Your photographs will be looked back on by you, your children, and perhaps even your grandchildren for many years to come. The style of photography is of major importance when considering the right wedding photographer.
What if it rains
One thing we cannot guarantee is the good old British weather. I supply pure white umbrellas and a pre visit of the wedding location is sometimes carried out prior to your day if the weather is forecasted to be unsettled. Most venues have areas under cover for such events but even a dull wet day can add such much to the photos so I would generally use it to my advantage.
My style is constantly changing I am influenced by current trends and fashions but always try to remain timeless in what I create for each client. I try and understand each and every client their personality, their ideas, their relationship. The time that I am able to spend leading up to the big day are so important- the booking process, the pre-wedding consultation. It all allows time for a trust, for a connection to be developed. That trust is priceless.
These are some of the most frequently asked questions I am asked before photographing a wedding. If you have any other questions that do not appear below, please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to answer them.
How many photographs do you take on the day?
Simple to answer, I take way too many! That is always what my clients tell me they had too many to choose from. I choose from approx. 100 for the 30 page bronze collection and then approx. 200 for the 40 page for the larger collections around 300-400 images. This is a only a guide though. All of the images are edited to maximise the beauty and mood of the day.
Will you take photographs of the bride getting ready prior to the ceremony?
Of course this is an excellent way to capture some detailed photographs of the dress, bouquet, make-up, shoes and of course the bride looking fabulous! Please see some of the examples throughout my site.
How do we view our images after the wedding?
Images will be placed online on my website within a week where possible, a pass word is then set up so that you can pass on too friends and relatives.
You can then purchase an album (digital photo story book), purchase just prints at most sizes including frames, and canvas the choice is yours. I have restructured my Wedding packages to keep the costs down considerably allowing people to budget for a Professional Wedding Photographer.
